The Silk Cami is a standard fit, slightly A-line cut top that can be worn loose or fitted depending on your preference. Featuring bias-bound top seams and straps, with side darts - it is a neat and flattering cut.
This camisole is lovingly dyed by Anindilyakwa women who live proudly on communities across the Groote Eylandt Archipelago.
The dying process
Anindilyakwa women hold ancient knowledge of their country. The dying process begins with a bush trip that draws on this knowledge to find and collect roots, leaves, bark and berries that have always been used in traditional dyeing practices.
We make every effort to ensure colours display accurately online, however, colour can vary.
Anindilyakwa Master Dyers
The women of Anindilyakwa Arts come together to dye textiles. A strong group of women have been leading the development of this community practice - these are the master dyers.
